Seabound- Come Forward: Live in Berlin

Seabound's first live album is a solid collection of fan favorites. As an electronic act, there's not a lot of variance between the live versions presented here and the original album recordings, but Frank Spinath does just enough vocal tricks to keep things interesting as well as providing between-song banter to keep the crowd engaged. Borrowing more than a little from VNV Nation's Ronan Harris, Spinath actually goes so far as to exhort fans to "Show me your hands" during "Exorcise" and "Hooked," but he's charming nonetheless, delivering plenty of innuendo on "Domination" and working himself into such a frenzy during "The Promise" that he actually goes a little out of breath. Few live albums are really essential, especially those by electronic acts, but this is a solid effort sure to please fans of these rising stars, and professional enough in quality to appeal even to more casual listeners.
