Goteki offers some remixes on this latest release called Goteki O/S Corrupted Files. These songs that are remixed on this CD were taken from the songs from the Goteki O/S. Goteki has brought in several well-known artists for this remix CD including “Echo Image”, “Icon Of Coil” “Glis” “Carol Masters” and “Deathboy”. All the tracks have both the remixing band and Goteki together working out the remixes. I have mixed feelings about this CD as not all the remixes really jump out at me. There are some strong songs and more laid back approaches. There is a good mix of EBM and synthpop through out the CD’s remixes. They are not bad all out, but just nothing that really pushed Goteki further. Remixes that really stood out for me would be “Phurturist”- Stormtrooper RMX by Goteki V Echo Image. One of the harder and more-catchy remixes would be “Surveillance” –Self –Calibrating RMX by Goteki and The Chaos Engine, which has more industrial sounds built within. I like the vocal effects also for this track, and the upbeat dance tempo. “Do Not listen to Goteki” the remix by “DeathBoy” would be another track that was good and had what I was looking for in a remix. This remix has strong pulsating beats that were tight. Overall, this is not a bad remix CD, it has a lot to offer, but I did not see my self listening to it over and over. I sort of ended up listening to just a few that I mentioned above the most.
