When I first heard this CD was coming out I was very excited. I could not wait to get my hand on this album. I guess I have hoping for another big hit like “Virgin Superstar” or the IST album. Yes, the album has many synthpop sounds and infectious beats, but I found it very boring at first. It did not have the power that I was looking forward too, I had to realize that this is new CD and who wants a repeat or recycled sounds of past CD’s. One song that did live up to my expectations was “Schwarz,” which has deep beats and fun beeps and sounds here and there. The vocals were clean and had that dark German sound. So, that is plus one for this album so far. Another song that was fairly good was “Sternradio,” which had more synthpop and 80’s flavor. It was upbeat and had plenty of danceable beats and fun baby like vocal effects at times. “Strafbomber,” probably was the more aggressive track the band had to offer, but I did not find that is had super melodies, but they were decent. So, overall this was not my favorite from the band, but it was a decent effort. I see myself going back to previous albums to listen too. This is a CD that is still growing on me till this day. I wish I could be more up –beat about this CD, but I really am in the middle on this CD.
