Cruciform is back at it again. Filling our heads once more with infectious beats. With Epilogue being their fourth release, you can really hear how much they have grown. This CD includes remixes by Haujobb, Pzychobitch, E-Craft, Neuroactive and Filament 38. The entire album is fifteen tracks of yummy dancefloor goodness. The opening track "Reducer" starts the voyage into this cd perfectly. It begins with a calm intro, then the beat builds up to it’s utterly flawless, almost analogue, catchy beat. Combined with Micah’s slightly distorted vocals they have a beautifully layered track. Track four, "Vacant Bodies", begins, pulling you immediately into the extremely powerful beats. A must to spin out when spinning bands like E-Craft, Feindflug, Terrorfakt and Suicide Commando (Do not let the 120 BPM tag on the track fool you). Track seven, "First Survey", is an extremely dancefloor friendly track. Filled with a lush synth line, strong lyrics and great vocals it is sure to be a club favorite. Haujobb’s remix version of "Reducer" adds even further distorted vocals along with more layering. A track geared for someone who really likes techno and/or aspects of that genre. E-Craft’s remix version of "Let it Die" really holds that E-Craft signature sound. The distinct bass line and certain synth sections are unmistakenly E-Craft. Unusual use of the vocoder in this track, turning Micah’s voice into vocals that would be suitable for a futurepop band.

When the boys and girl of Cruciform Injection tour your area, I highly recommend going. Micah’s stage presence is unbelievable. The energy produced, be it a large or small venue, is ungodly. This is one of the bands that I can say that I am overly impressed with.
