Milk
Energie
This is music that is just sleazy enough that anybody
can enjoy it, but not everyone will. Jazzy
wah-saturated guitars and lyrics that obsess over sex
more than the average 17 year-old. It's a good
combination, and one that works. There's also
bass-lines to turn Bootsy Collins head with a sample
here and there. If you liked some of My Life With The
Thrill Kill Kults' later albums, Sexplosion and
on-wards, you might just dig Milk. If you're in the
business of never letting anyone see you do anything
but brood, this is probably not an album for you. But
as far as fun, funky and sleazy goes, this album has
it in droves. Songs like "Milk Machine" and "Sexual
Volcano" were personal favorites. Kinda like a "Red
Hot Chilly Peppers" fallen off the wagon. Plenty of
singable choruses here. Even an impressive sax solo.
This is the kind of album that there is a right time
to pull this one out. It's a fun album.
