The title song “The Bitter Begin” could be a great anthem for a darkly futuristic movie or video game. “Elevator Music” kicks open another scene, this time with massive attitude backing it up nicely with jolting energy and fury, and then, closing it with “Beyond Repair”, where the somber mood is like a still life photograph---having the mind reflect upon the uncertainty of images felt and seen of where the “story” may be headed…and that’s a good feeling felt, because, those three songs told a story brilliantly, and that right there, left much room for creative possibilities for new material. Just listen to the way “Beyond Repair” starts off, how it gets wider and wider filling the room with power. Can you hear that song as the closing track to a movie? I sure can.

“The Bitter Begin” has nothing bitter about it---it’s amazing all the way through, like a favorite candy bar that you couldn’t wait to rip the wrapper off of and devour---wasting nothing and being completely satisfied after.

Earth Loop Recall is good, very good in fact, and I’m really looking forward to learning more about them as individuals, and through their artistic contributions as members of Earth Loop Recall.
