Dark Floors

What looks to be a very frightening horror movie coming out of Finland and arriving in U.S. theaters next summer is called Dark Floors. It's about an autistic girl whose father feels her health is in jeopardy by staying in the hospital. The only choice he feels he has to protect her, is to abruptly remove her from the facility. On their way out they (and others) become trapped inside an elevator. Once the doors open…the hospital appears eerily abandoned…dissected bodies are discovered, and creatures from a dark realm attack. The group soon realizes that their hope for survival may lie within the child.

Directed by Pete Riski (original concept) and written by Pekka Lehtosaari. Starring the rock/metal monster band Lordi (Mr. Lordi is also credited with the original concept, and will perform the movie’s theme), Skye Bennett, Noah Huntley, Dominique McElligot, Leon Herbert, William Hope, Ronald Pickup, and Philip Bretherton.
