English rock band Duran Duran was one of the hottest bands of the 80s, selling more than 100 million records. Due to their creative music videos and unprecedented interest in fashion, the band was dubbed by many as "the prettiest boys in rock."
Aug. 10 is celebrated as "Duran Duran Appreciation Day" because it was on that day in 1985 when lead singer Simon Le Bon survived the capsizing of his yacht during a 608-mile race.
Why not celebrate this special day by listening to one of Duran Duran's greatest hit or listen to the new remix they have released for Appreciation Day.
