Band Name: Foryou

GC: What is the name of your band and who are the current members?

foryou, are current members are Peter Shea, Phill Bartlett, Rob Monro, Brayden Brown, Ryan McCarney.

GC: How did you become connected to make music?

Through friends and other bands.

GC: What are your musical influences?

Alot underground hardcore/punk bands, and the people and events in are lives.

GC: What is your live show like?

Interactive and energetic.

GC: Tell us about your own unique style of music?

We write what we would want to listen to ourselves.

GC: What serparates your band from all the other bands out there?

We blend all different styles of genres and mix it with are own hardcore music. We strife to make each unique in its own way.

GC: How do you go about writing songs? Everyone particaptes and puts in there own opinion.

GC: Pick one of your latest song and talk about everything from writing it, meanings, the challenges of recording it?

A fashionable excuse for mistaking myself for something more. The meaning of this song is self described its about over estimating yourself and than realizing you are not capable what you think you are and dealing with that. Are demo was recorded in one day, five hours, and all songs were recorded live off the floor. This song one only took two runs though and then we were happy with it. Are only challenge was are engineer forgot to ajust the levels of the keyboard.

GC: What is your latest news with the band?

Since we just started, there is not much new news, except we are always writing new songs and playing shows. If you want more up to date news go to, www.myspace.com/foryou .

GC: Where do you hope to be in 5 years with your band?

We hope to be playing music and constently on tour.

GC: How are people currently reacting to your music?

othing but positive reactions from all sorts of different people.

GC: What would be the top 3 reasons for listening to your music?

We

GC: What is your best experience as a band?

Meeting tonnes of new people and playing live shows.

GC: What is your worst experience as a band?

not being able to get to certain places due to money. Besides that nothing.

GC: What is most important to you in your band?

The people who are listening.

GC: Do you have a personal favorite song, could be your own or other, and why?

We love each song, they all have a personal reflection and we could listen to any song and say it is are favorite.

GC: What was the hardest song to write and why?

None. All are songs just kinda have a flow while writing, we haven't experienced writers block of any form yet.

GC: What do you think of the current gothic/ EBM/ Industrial/ noise/ synthpop etc scence today?

Its amazing. Good to see people getting underground music known to the people that care.

GC: What music do you currently listen to, and why?

Alot of dharma love, dillenger, the old converge cd, the cries of the past uneroath cd and just a mix of other stuff.

GC: How do you keep changing your music from album to album or plan to change it?

Since we only have a demo now we can't really anwser that question. But we just plan to keep writing are songs and giving them different forms.

C: What kind of recording environment do you have?

Are drummers Dads basement.

GC:How long did you spend on your latest effort?

Are demo, we picked the three first songs we wrote and recorded them in a day.

GC: What is the hardest thing about being in a band for this genre? Creating your own sound within the genre.
